My thoughts

www

  • i think the face liquefying tool really help making it looked better than planned.

  • There very animated  and alien like which is what i was going for, but also looks like 'botched body's' when they get far to much plastic surgery and it goes wrong.

  • i also quite like the tacky fake background think it work with the whole doll ascetic nicely.

  • i went with these pacific backgrounds photos because they are places in  North and west Europe.

EBI

  • i want to produce a film for my outcome but did not mange my time right.  also I don't know Anything about film so needed to do my research.

  • I could have thought of more ways to experiment with the photos because very repetitive

  • if i had more time i would have  west Africa landscape background also.

inspiration

chrishabana jewlery- @uglyworldwide and @glvssbrvnd

inspired by the over the top digital backdrops and how the photos stand out against the artificial backdrops.

my mini studio

i set up a mini photo studio in my room using the some equipment i have.  i used a sold coloured backdrop when taking these photos, this is because its will make the editing background process easier. i didn't have a green/blue screen all i had was white.so i used that.  i plan on photoshopping in the photo by cutting out the white backdrop.

my makeup didn't capture the look i wanted, so i found a way to  warp my face in the photos to create the look of my  clay doll.

i used the liquefy tool which allowed me to alter each feature on the face individually. i also used warp tool because the liquefy tool only enhanced the features to certain points, plus you have more control with the warp tool.
